RADIO ESSAYS

Ten years of Dayvid Figler's award-winning radio essays are archived on the website of KNPR, the foremost public radio station in Nevada. Select radio commentaries can also be heard on numerous national programs including All Things Considered. He has also contributed to "Live Wire," "Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me," "Kitchen Stories" and countless radio panels and podcasts.

BOOKS AND STORIES

A prolific writer, Dayvid's written works can be found in a numerous anthologies including "Literary Nevada," "In the Shadow of the Strip," "Kapow!" "The Perpetual Engine of Hope," "Poetry Slam: The Competative Art" and others. His acclaimed short story "GROPE" was published by Future Tense Books (Portland). His small memoir, "No Kids, No Piss, No Scat: A First Amendment Love Story" was published by NSFW Press (San Francisco) and is available on Kindle.

Dayvid writes extensively and has been featured in virtually every Nevada publication, including the Las Vegas Weekly, the Mercury, CityLife and Desert Companion. Nationally, he contributed the cover story for HEEB magazine, was a staff writer for Paul Carr's NSFWCorp magazine and a frequent contributor to Time Out. He is a columnist for the Nevada Independent.
